Jean Zerhusen Obituary
MAGNOLIA, DE - Jean M. Zerhusen passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at home. She was born on July 21, 1930, in Brockton, MA, daughter of the late Leon and Helen Thuotte.
Mrs. Zerhusen was a devout Catholic, a faithful member of St. Edmond Church in Rehoboth Beach, and a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
In addition to her parents; Mrs. Zerhusen was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Bernard Zerhusen. She is survived by her sons, Stephen Zerhusen (Donna), Andrew Zerhusen (Teresa), Eric Zerhusen, and Charles Zerhusen (Christy); her daughters, Jeanne Zimmerman (Joseph), Gretchen Pierce, Heidi Baustert (Lewis), Joyce Bridges, Laura Voshell (Steven), and Sharon Zerhusen-Keaveney; and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, at 11 a.m., at St. Edmond Church, 409 King Charles Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, PO Box 646, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971-0646.
