Ronald R. Bachand
Sr., 75
Ronald R. Bachand Sr passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Kent General Hospital.
He was born May 9, 1947, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, to the late Rosario C. Bachand and Beatrice Larence.
Mr. Bachand served in the United States Air Force for 21 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Bachand was an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, and a life member of The American Legion Post #2, Delvets and VFW Milford. He enjoyed spending his time woodworking and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Bachand, and his son, John P. Bachand.
Mr. Bachand is survived by his sons, Ronald Bachand Jr. and his wife, Myrtle, of Dover, DE, and James D. Bachand of Lewes, DE; and his sister, Pauline Peloquin of Sanford, FL.
The family would like to give a special thank you to his wonderful care givers, Christine and Amber Allaband.
Mass will be held 12 Noon, Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Holy Cross Church, 631 South State Street, Dover, DE. Interment will be at Sharon Hills Memorial Park. Following the services, a reception will be held at American Legion Post #2, 835 S Bay Rd, Dover, DE 19901.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to American Legion Walter L Fox Post 2, 835 S Bay Rd, Dover, DE 19901.
