Diana Jean Delbridge passed away Monday, July 11 in Rockford, IL surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer. She was born April 27, 1967 in Princeton, IL to Leo and Betty (Shannon) Lenihan.
She was a 1985 graduate of Princeton High School. She met the love of her life, Alan Delbridge, at the Bureau County Race Track. They started dating October 2, 1982. They got married June 30, 1989 in Naples, FL. Alan and Diana Delbridge lived in Naples, FL from 1987-1994 when they moved back to Princeton, IL to accept a position at Champion (Gardner Denver).
She is survived by husband Alan Delbridge of Tiskilwa, IL. One daughter Ashley (Derek) Drinkwine of Tiskilwa. One son Alan Delbridge Jr. of Tiskilwa. Two grandchildren Ryker and Lincoln Drinkwine. Two sisters Mary (Randy) Coomer of Sheffield, IL and Barbara Prater of Naples, FL. Three brothers Charles (Pam) Lenihan of Tiskilwa, IL, Richard Lenihan of Princeton, IL, and Frank (Anna) Lenihan of Naples, FL and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Larry, James, and Robert Lenihan.
Visitation will be at Ficocchi-Jensen Funeral home on Sunday, July 17th from 2:00-4:00p.m. 208 S. Euclid Ave. Princeton, IL. Burial services will be at a later date.
