Marlo Sanders Obituary

Marlo Jean Sanders
Born: February 8, 1942 in Walnut, IL
Died: September 21, 2023 in Tiskilwa, IL
Marlo Jean Sanders, 81, of Tiskilwa Illinois, passed away on September 21, 2023 after battling Alzheimer's disease. Even though Alzheimer's took her away from this world, her loving heart left a beacon of light for her family and friends.
Marlo was born on February 8, 1942 to Leonard and Dorthy (Peach) Brown. After graduating from Walnut High School, she went on to obtain a certificate for Phlebotomy and Laboratory Technician.
On June 13, 1964, Marlo married Neil Sanders. Marlo and Neil had two sons, Cory Sanders and Mark Sanders.
Marlo had a long career at Perry Memorial Hospital as a Phlebotomist/Lab Technician (she was one of the best).
Marlo retired and continued to work as a pharmacy technician, worked at the Moose lodge with her friends, and became more active in her church. Marlo also loved to bake and her baked goods were among the family and friends' favorites.
Marlo was preceded in death by her parents and Neil Sanders. She is survived by Cory Sanders, Mark (Camilla) Sanders, and grandchildren, Landon and Lauren Sanders.
Services will be held at Tiskilwa Community Church on October 21, 2023 at 11:00am.
