I knew Chris and worked with him on and off from 1979 thru 2015.... He was smart, kind and ethical. Funny and honest. At one point he had an assignment which made him travel... a lot. And then I learned he was positively terrified of flying... but he muscled thru it. I can still hear his "chuckle". it is wonderful and comforting to learn of his deep Catholic faith. My best to all of his family... if there is a memorial donation, please post ...

My deepest condolences to the family. Like many others, I been very fortunate to have worked with Chris and benefited from his immense experience and knowledge. Chris was always generous with his time and by nature, was kind and helpful. His legacy will continue, not just in the work he accomplished, but also though the behaviour of people he touched and now influences. Rest In Peace, Chris.

I am sorry to hear of Chris passing.
All of us that had the opportunity to work with Chris at ExxonMobil learned a lot from his extensive industry acumen. There is hardly any topic Chris would not know of!
Please accept our deepest condolences for your loss.

I just heard the terrible news. I worked with Chris for many years at EM, and he was a terrific human being with a tremendous work ethic, high level of intelligence, dependable mentor, and an all around great co-worker.
He was missed tremendously in our Lubricants business when he retired. So much of the work he did continues to live on in our company today (He could map out the economics of a refinery with his eyes closed!).
Lina and family, my condolences for your loss.
RIP, Chris.
