I am so sorry to hear about Kathleen. I've been in PA for the past several yrs so I don't get to read the BL. like I used to. She always made sure my letters to the editor were published and helped many of us during the redevelopment days when I purchased a few commercial properties in the blighted area in the early 90's. In fact I credit Kathleen for finding me quality buyers for my properties (Lynch's and Jennifer Johnson for the Jazzercise). Whether she realized it at the time Kathleen was instrumental in creating Jacksonville Beach in what it is today. I only had a few conversations with her but she was always so pleasant towards me and we all appreciate what she did for the community. Kathleen shall be in my daily prayers.... for now she is among the ancestors...

In the short time I knew Kathy she took time to offer advice when I asked for her help, she and her family served my first lobster on the 4th of July! That's the kindness that defined this beautiful lady.

So very, very sorry to hear of Kathleen's passing. I am in total shock! I've known Kathleen through business with the Leader in many years past and we have been her electrician for the last several years.
Our condolences to her family, friends, co-workers and all that knew her infectious sweet and witty personality. What a huge loss for our community! Sending many thoughts and prayers.

You are in our thoughts and prayers and we are so sorry for your loss. Ron and I had many conversations with Kathleen through the years and she always spoke of her pride and joy, her children and her husband. We always knew she was a strong advocate for the Beaches community and will be truly missed.
