RAYMOND "RAY" THOMAS NADER, SR
Raymond "Ray" Thomas Nader, Sr., passed away peacefully on February 26, 2024, at the age of 84. He was born September 26, 1939, in Marshall, Texas, to Henry Mack and Madee Thomas Nader, and moved to Jacksonville Beach in 1964. Raymond started his career in the automobile industry and then became a longtime employee of Nader's Pest Raiders.
Raymond was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth; his parents, and two sisters, Jo Ann Abdullah and Jean Coram. He is survived by his four children, Ray Nader Jr., Randy Nader (Kimberly), Natalie Nader, and Russell Nader (Julie); nine grandchildren, Lyndsay Nader, Elizabeth Nader, Elisabeth Cavallaro, Samantha Hargrove (Blaze), Trey Nader, Marcella Carpenter (Nathan), Russell Nader Jr., Jaynie Nader, Haley Swain (Michael), and Chloe Nader; three great-grandchildren, Eden Carpenter, Riley Hargrove, and Sarah Swain; brother Larry Nader; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held with the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to Community Hospice & Palliative Care.
