Susannah Hanson Obituary
Susannah S. Hanson (Sue), 91, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, passed away February 8, 2023. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on January 11, 1932. Susannah graduated from Fletcher High School and received a masters degree from the Academy of Christian Training. She married Robert G. Hanson on June 17, 1952. Sue worked for the U.S. Navy, State Farm Insurance and Publix Bakery. She was a member of the Redeemer Church (Palm Valley)/Joyfully 60+. She had a passion for Jesus, the beach, collecting seashells and sharks teeth, Precious Moments, baking, family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Robert W. Hanson, Laura K. Robertson (Freddy); niece Carlene Smith Stitz (Doug), nephew Bruce Smith, granddaughter, Katie R. Motes (Dylan) and great-grandchildren, Dylan Jr, Aubrey, and Ryleigh.
A memorial celebration will be held 11am, Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Redeemer Church (Palm Valley.

Dear Hanson Family,
I am sorry for the passing of Sue. I lived with Susan and Kathy in PVB and we attended a wonderful home group together on Monday nights. She was kind, prayerful, and generous. She let me eat her chocolate ice cream with almonds, she bought extra. She prayed often for others, myself included. When I returned to pick up my clothes my cousin was with me and she shared about Jesus and gave her gift of two terracotta angels she still has in her kitchen. I had hoped to see her again and I am deeply saddened. I know one day in heaven we will share a beautiful feast together. Again, my deepest sympathies for you, and hugs.
