Agnes Billesbach, 99, of Beatrice passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Beatrice Health and Rehab. She was born March 18, 1926, at Roseland, NE to Charles and Elizabeth (Weber) Streff. She graduated from Roseland High School. She married Leo B. Billesbach on September 23, 1947, at Assumption Catholic Church of Assumption, NE. They moved to Beatrice in 1960, where Leo established Leo's Jewelry in 1963. Agnes was an exceptional homemaker who will be remembered as a nurturing soul. She was a long-time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Beatrice.
Survivors include her children, Steve Billesbach and wife Sharon of Beatrice, Charla Billesbach Kunze and husband Paul of Sun City West, AZ, Mark Billesbach and wife Beth of Odell, Paul Billesbach and wife Pam, Jane Keefover and husband Scott, and Joe Billesbach and fiancé Katie Dolan all of Beatrice; sister, Bette Brockman of Hastings; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; parents, Charles and Elizabeth Streff; an infant son; grandson, Preston Keefover; nine brothers, sisters and their spouses.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Beatrice with Father Leo Kosch and Father Loras Grell, Cocelebrants. A Scriptural Rosary Service will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Fox Funeral Home. The family will greet relatives and friends after the Rosary. Burial will be in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery of Beatrice. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and then at the church one hour preceding the services on Wednesday.
