Connie L. Mahloch, 65, of Plymouth passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, April 26, 2024. She was born December 3, 1958, in Beatrice to Duaine and Alice "Vi" (Hollingsworth) Blaser. She worked as a carhop at A&W in high school and graduated from Beatrice High School in May of 1977. She married Tom Mahloch on August 12, 1977, at the Centenary United Methodist Church. After high school she went to work as an Administrative Assistant at BSDC for 47 years and was a Scentsy Consultant. She loved selling Scentsy and the social aspect of attending different events. She was a member of Jobs Daughters. Connie enjoyed playing golf, shooting pool, watching her daughter compete in shooting sport events, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends. She was a patient, caring person. She was a listener who also granted grace. She had quick wit and a sense of humor.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Tom of Plymouth; daughter, Sheena (Ben) Yockel of Wymore; grandchildren, Addison Yockel and Ryan Yockel; sisters, Alice Blaser of Beatrice, Jane (Doug) Lintz of DeWitt, and Pam (James) Klar of Omaha; nieces and nephews, Michelle Blaser, Jonathan (RainNee) Lintz, Amanda (Brett) Scheiding, Ben (Kayla) Klar, Zac (Heidi) Klar, Madison Klar, Isaac (Amy) Klar; and other extended family, friends and coworkers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Duaine and Alice "Vi" (Hollingsworth) Blaser; infant sister, Mary Sue Blaser; grandparents, Christian and Alice E. Blaser, Harold and Bessie Hollingsworth; and numerous aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Christ Community Church with Pastor Dan Martin officiating. If you would like to watch the service online, go to Christ Community Church's website and click on the Sermon tab provided. A private family inurnment service will take place at a later date at the Wymore cemetery. Cremation has taken place but a register book is available for signatures on Wednesday from noon until 8:00 P.M. with the family greeting relatives and friends from 5:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Fox Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to the family for Connie's grandchildren's college education. www.foxfuneralhome.net
