John Michael Meyer

John Michael (Mitch or Mike) Meyer born October 12, 1955, passed away on October 13, 2024.

He was husband of Joan Meyer. They met at John Kraft Chev Omaha and have shared 34 years of marriage together.

Born in Beatrice, NE, he was the son of Paul and Frances Meyer, graduated Milford Community College

with a diesel mechanics and three welding degrees at the top of his class. He was the co-owner of G & M Automotive services with best friend, George Koppit.

Mike was a fun loving, sweet, giant of a man that loved his family, always worked hard and especially enjoyed the time spent working on the farm that he shared with his brother, Jim. He was an avid gardener with specialty of delicious tomatoes and his love of all animals especially the kittens.

Don't forget he loved a Casey's pizza a cold beer and would do anything for you and he even liked crazy.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; siblings: Patrick Meyer, Kathy Lippold, Mary (Jerry) Hohenfeldt, Carol Meyer, Jim (Julie), Julie (Jay) Hash; along with loving aunt, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Celebration of life to be determined, spring of 2025.
