Julia Schultz Obituary

Death

Julia (Blecha) Schultz, 97, Pawnee City, died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005, at the Pawnee Manor in Pawnee City. She was born Sept. 1, 1907, at Tate, Neb., the daughter of Joseph and Christina (Tenk) Blecha. She lived at Tate during her school years and married Ted Schultz on April 26, 1941, in Seneca, Kan. They lived in the rock house on the Emil Schultz farm, southwest of DuBois, when they were first married and later moved to the farm north of Burchard. She enjoyed working on the farm, along with gardening and canning. In earlier years, she also enjoyed needlework.

Survivors: niece, Roxann Buman and husband Dale of Pawnee City; nephews, Michael Blecha and wife Kathy of Humboldt, Lennis Blecha and wife Glenda of Table Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Frank Schultz (Feb. 18, 1974); parents, Joseph and Christina (Tenk) Blecha; sister, Emma Krikava; brothers, Alvin Blecha and Emil Blecha.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, Harman-Wright Mortuary Chapel, 623 Elk St., Beatrice. Burial: Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice. Memorials established to the Pawnee Manor, Pawnee City. There will be no viewing. A register book is available online at www.harmanwrightmortuary.com for messages of condolence. Harman-Wright Mortuary, Beatrice, in charge of arrangements.
