Conrado Guedes Obituary

Conrado Alvarez Guedes, 88, of Beaumont, passed away May 16, 2011. He was born October 20, 1922 in Cuba to Conrado Alvarez and Rosa Guedes. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be Wednesday, May 18, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Conrado is survived by his wife, Argelia Alvarez; his daughters, Maria Moujaes and her husband, Alfred of Houston, TX and Kuky Wardwell and her husband, Ronnie of Beaumont, TX; his grandchildren, Chris Moujaes of Dallas, TX, Eric Moujaes of Austin, TX, Monica Wardwell of Galveston, TX, Chad Wardwell of San Diego, CA, and Nicole Mikles of Rancho Santa Fe, CA.; his great-grandchildren, Evie Moujaes, Branson Mikles and MacKenzie Mikles and his brother, Guillermo Alvarez Guedes. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. The family of Conrado Alvarez wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the employees and staff of Summer Place Nursing Home for their care and compassion. They also want to thank Odyssey Hospice for the services and care they provided. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
