Daisy Prinz Obituary

Daisy Janice Prinz, 72, of Winnie, died Thursday, May 9, 2012, at The Arboretum Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Winnie. A native of Fort Worth, she was born on April 22, 1940, to Gene Hufford and Dorothy Dilliard Hufford, and had lived in the Winnie area since 1976. Daisy was the former owner of Las Palamas R. V. Park, in Gilchrist. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, fishing, hunting, crocheting, and gardening. Most of all, Daisy loved being with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Gil Prinz; son, Troy Prinz, of Winnie; grandchildren, Cheslea Prinz, Erin Prinz, and Emily Prinz, all of Winnie; brother, Paul Hufford and his wife, Janet of Kingwood; sister-in-law, Quinn Hufford of Liberty Hill; and numerous relatives and friends. Mrs. Prinz's memorial service will be at a later date. Her committal was held at Broussard's Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard's, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive, in Winnie.
