I am saddened to find this obituary as I sit here looking at my collection of Lost Sendero Buck Art that David provided for my wall. We had many a good visit when he came to Mc Allen and each time I tried to add more of his talent to my view. Even to getting my nephew to start a collection also. I have been missing him and now I know why, thinking he is only two years younger. I am glad to discover a granddaughter who is taking up the brush also, although I love the venados of
South Texas the best as David portrayed them in the senderos so much like ours. I know you miss him and I also have to say the same. My condolences to the family. Doug Bard

To Beverly I offer heartfelt condolences. David was an amazing artist and a kind soul. I enjoyed all the visits we had over the years and his hunt with us at our ranch in Rocksprings. I am lucky to have several of his original paintings and will cherish them always and think of him when I see them. My last talk with him was in September 2016 so I was shocked to see he had passed because things sounded to be going better. RIP David.

Sincerely,
Glynn Underwood
