Denise "Lacy" Parker

Denise Parker Lacy was born on June 30, 1978 in Jasper, Texas to Kenneth and Reba mason. She attended school in Newton, Texas until her sophomore year and was a 1996 graduate of Brownsboro High School. She also attended Tyler junior College and Texas A&M. Survivors are her children Ethan and Madelyn Parker of Chandler, Texas and their dad, Rob parker of Brownsboro, Texas, parents, Kenneth and Reba mason, brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and martha Mason, nephew, Brent Mason all of Chandler, Texas, aunts and uncles, Lloyd and Sue Downing and Thomas and Linda Downing of Bon Wier, Texas, Charles Mason of New Caney, Texas and Bill Mason of Joaquin, Texas, grandparents, Beatrice and Tom Moye of Bon Wier, Texas and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chester Downing and J. D. and Epsie Mason. Lacy was a devoted mother, a friend to many and committed to her family. Visitation will be on Friday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Rockhill Baptist Church in Brownsboro, Texas. Funeral services will be on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Rockhill Baptist Church with graveside services to be on Saturday at 4:00 pm at Inman Cemetery in Bon Wier, Texas. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Trinity Mother Frances Hospital that helped Lacy through this battle, especially Dr. Vukelja of Texas Oncologu Clinic and Dr. Beets of Texas Palliative Care.
