Elouise Poshataske Obituary

Elouise Schuler Poshataske, 96, died in Natchez, MS, October 27, 2013. She was the daughter of John Henry Schuler and Augusta Brandl Schuler. She resided most of her life in Silsbee, Texas, where, in 1941, she married Dr. Wallace Joseph Poshataske and raised her family. For many years, she was a member of All Souls Catholic Church (now St. Marks) in Silsbee. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister Lorita Rivet, and her brother, John Henry Schuler, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Anelle Waguespack and husband, Perry, of Baton Rouge, La. and Jean Goldman and husband, Harry, of Waterproof, La.; her grandchildren, Chris Waguespack, and wife, Allison, Michael Waguespack, Jeff Goldman and wife, Amanda and Karen Goldman; her great grandchildren, Eva Waguespack, Holden Waguespack, and Jack Goldman; her sister, Mildred Slavik; her nephew, John Schuler; and her niece Nancy Serio. A funeral service was held at St. Marks Catholic Church at 10 a.m., Monday, Nov. 11. Entombment followed at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont.

Long time residents of Silsbee. Dr. P delivered me along with many others. He was also on the school board. I know his wife was proud of his accomplishments as he was of hers. Prayers for the family!
