Flora Elizabeth Arnold, 93, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, June 3, 2012. Flora was born on May 1, 1919, in Crossville, TN to William Daniel and Minerva K. (Anderson) Lake. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and maintained a life-long commitment to serving our Lord and her Savior. Flora is survived by her husband of 71 years, Thomas Alfred Arnold and sister, Ann Hackney. She will be missed by all who knew her, but especially by her three sons, William T. Arnold, Robert G. Arnold, Ronald J. Arnold and her only daughter, Sandra Sue Schiller. Flora had eight grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grand- children. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Bridge City, with Pastor Brad Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, near Bridge City. The family would like to thank the angels that devoted loving care to our mother. We are grateful our mother taught us how to live everyday with more awareness of love, faith, hope, and charity.
