George Baseke Obituary

George Baseke Jr. of Fredericksburg passed away on Saturday January 8th in the Hill Country memorial Hospital at the age of 84 years.

George was born March 25, 1937 in Conroe, TX to George and Bertha Texana Gregg Baseke Sr.

George married Bonnie Mund on April 18, 1998 at Christ Lutheran Church, Cherry Springs, TX.

George is survived by his wife: Bonnie Baseke of Fredericksburg

Three children: Renee Baseke

Rodney Baseke Sr.

John Baseke and his wife Tiffany

Five grandchildren: Rodney Allen Baseke Jr., Megan Caldwell, Jessie Rogers, Rachel Baseke, Jonathan Baseke

Thirteen great grandchildren

Sisters: Betty Coleman and Willie Pearl Daniels

Along with his parents, George was preceded in death by a sister: Doris Hatcher and great grandchild Cayden Baseke.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Christ Lutheran Church, or to the charity of one's choice.

Celebration of Life will be held on Monday January 17th at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Ward officiating.

Visitation will be held on Monday January 17th from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home prior to the Service.

Arrangements are by the Schaetter Funeral Home
