J.E. Robinson Sr.

J. E. Robinson, Sr., 92, of Fannett, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. A native of Voth and lifelong area resident, Mr. Robinson was a retired operator with the Rice Experimental Station at Texas A&M Agricultural and Research Center. Survivors include his daughters, Patsy Hanchett and her husband Butch, and Barbara Patterson and her husband Robert all of Fannett and Cora Reich of Dayton; son, Joe Robinson, Jr. of Anahuac; sisters, Ethel Mae Howard and Margarete Kollander both of China; thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and twelve great great grandchildren. His wife, Wanda Robinson; brothers, Woodrow Robinson and Lloyd Robinson; and grandson, Ronnie Meadows preceded him in death. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at China Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2007 at the Mortuary.
