I have many fond childhood memories of holidays and family gatherings with Uncle Jake while growing up in Abilene. He was always such a fun Uncle. Those really were the good old days! Uncle Jake will truly be missed, but I know he is enjoying a wonderful reunion with Aunt Carolyn, Mama, Papa, Aunt Kat, Aunt Linda, Aunt Brenda, Gibb, my Mom Paula, and so many loved ones in Heaven at this very moment. I look forward to the day when we will all be reunited with our loved ones and see Jesus in Heaven, just like Uncle Jake. What an amazing day that will be! Praying for God’s peace and comfort for Shannon, Dale, Robby, Shelby, Kelton, Uncle Wayne, My Dad Paul, and many loved ones. God is near to the broken-hearted.

My brother Jake loved his baby bother Paul. Paul loved his Brother Jake. He taught me how to swim when I was 6 years old. Thank you Jake, I had no problem on water and and was able to save nephew Joey from drowning when we were little. Jake loved animals and always had a pet when growing up. Many were wild animals including a Skunk that sprayed him just before leaving home for an out of town trip. Could not let him ride on top of car but everyone wanted him to.I sure loved playing in his bird house he built in the back yard.
He loved taking me hunting and fishing. And Give me instructions on fishing. He would always stay as long as I wanted to Fish and hunt
There is a wonderful family reunion going on with you, Mother,Daddy, Linda, Kat, Carolyn, Gibb, and Paula. I am so thankful you accepted Jesus when you were young.
Thank you Brother for teaching me how to enjoy life. I look forward to a special tour of our eternal home when we all get to Heaven ❤
