Life without the true "silent leader of the band" seems surreal. I always thought I saw him, throughout my life, from a distance, silently, smiling, observing. Now, even more so, I know I see him, even but for a moment, out of the corner of my eye, out of the shadows of my heart ... He is an Angel now, but oddly, he was also ... when he walked amongst us. I shall miss your smile. Your silent look of encouragement.
