Jerry McDonald Obituary

December 15, 1950 -

December 17, 2021

It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt love that we mourn the passing of Jerry G. McDonald on December 17, 2021 at the age of 71. Jerry was born of parents, Donald (Red) and Peggy McDonald on December 15, 1950 in Port Arthur, Texas, where he resided most of his life. For years he traveled throughout the states as a commercial truck driver, returning with tales of his adventures on the road. He loved outdoor gatherings with family and friends. His favorite activities were fishing and dancing and he enjoyed taking care of animals. Jerry was kind and generous in helping others, volunteering often. He will be missed by all. Jerry is survived by his son, Cody Chappell of Bridge City, Texas, along with a brother, Richard McDonald of Nederland, Texas, and two sisters, Debbie Villemez and Donna Zibolowsky, both of Mansfield, Texas. He is proceeded in death by two brothers and two sisters. A memorial will be announced in the near future.
