Jimmy Lane Pippin

Jimmy Lane Pippin, 55, of Lumberton died on March 27, 2009. A lifelong resident of Lumberton, he graduated from Lumberton High School in 1971. He was a charter member of Lumberton EMS and spent 20 years at the Lumberton Volunteer Fire Department. He served on the Little League Board as boy's player agent and he also coached Little League Baseball, soccer and Little Dribblers. He was a member of Parkway Life Church in Lumberton where he served as Sunday School Superintendent and was on the church board. He was employed by Exxon-Mobil as a machinist for 34 years. Jimmy was a great husband, dad, son, son-in-law, granddad, brother and tractor. Jimmy will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, H. W. Pippin, Jr. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Brenda Pippin of Lumberton; his mother, Mavis Pippin of Lumberton; his sons,Brandon Pippin and wife Courtney, Brent Pippin and wife LaRanda all of Lumberton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Glenna Martin of Lumberton; sisters, Donnie McCoy and husband Jim of Spring, Jan Feuge and husband Randy of Orange; granddaughters, Kelsey Pippin and Kinsy Pippin; grandsons, Jake Pippin and Britain Pippin; and soon-to-be granddaughter, Paris Pippin. Funeral service for Jimmy will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Parkway Life Church in Lumberton with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont under the direction of Broussard's in Silsbee. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, March 30, 2009 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made in Jimmy's name to Parkway Life Church P.
