Dear Family,

What an awesome man has been welcomed into heaven! I remember so many wonderful days at Hillcrest Elementary working for Mr. Verret. He had a good attitude about school and teaching and I still remember so many funny things he said.
He gave me my first teaching job in 1978 and I will never forget his phone call when announced that he was my new boss.

May God bless and comfort you all and keep you forever.
