John Verrett

John Verrett, 52, of Beaumont, died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on July 31, 1961, in Port Arthur, to Agnes Marie Pousson and Richard Red Verrett, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. John is survived by his mother, Agnes Marie Verrett of Beaumont; six brothers; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Verrett and father, Richard Red Verrett. A gathering of Mr. Verrett's family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 4445 Avenue A, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
