John Ward Obituary

John M. Ward passed away peacefully at his home on June 26th surrounded by his loving wife, Margaret, and family. John was born on November 12, 1951 in Vidor, Texas to parents Opal and Marshall Ward. He is a graduate of Nacogdoches High School and shortly after graduation he began working at Goodyear Tire and Rubber company in Beaumont and was there for 36 years. He loved to hunt and fish, but in recent years his favorite pastime was going to the casino with his beloved wife Margaret by his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Terrie Ward and brother Kenneth Ward. He leaves behind his beloved wife Margaret, daughters; Alyssa Jordan and husband Mark of Nacogdoches, Margaret Siglock and husband, James of Kingwood, and Jennifer Neal and husband Ron of Colleyville, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of his life on July 17th from 3:00 to 6:00 at Rockin A Cafe located at 3520 W. Cardinal Drive in Beaumont, Texas. Please come with your favorite memory to share! If you are unable to attend, but would love to share a memory, please email to [email protected].

The family would like to offer a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Charles Paige, Russell and Brianne with Affinity Hospice, and Jason and Angie at Laird Funeral Home for all of their love and care that they provided.
