June Ragland Obituary

June Darrence Allen Ragland, 92, died at home in Angleton, Tx on Tuesday, November 12, 2011, after a long and courageous struggle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Joe A. Ragland Sr.; daughter, June Ragland Mann; son, Joe A. Ragland, Jr. and wife, Lynda; sister, Mary Ann Garrett; and brother, Sam Cale Allen; 5 Grandchildren; 11 great-grand- children; and 5 great-great grandchildren. June was born in Newton County, Texas, to Will B. & Phyllis Ann Linscome Allen, and graduated from Kirbyville High School in 1936. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2011, The Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Angleton, TX. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m., with a Wake service at 6:30 p.m. Entombment to following at Restwood Cemetery, Clute, TX. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Arrangements by Palms Funeral Home, Angleton, Texas. 979/ 849 - 4343. June Ann, I saw the obituary for your mom in the Beaumont paper. I remember her as a very lovely sweet woman. I'm sorry for your loss.
