I dont know how to begin stating my feelings on what happened. I just learned of it today. I went to L.I.T. with Justin in 2002. We were in the EMT program together. He wanted to be a fireman. I remember that he kept me company during class and when we did clinicals together. He had a great personality and smile. We didn't really keep in touch much after that semester. I saw him maybe a few times in 2003 and I didn't see him again until I ran into him at the hospital the day his baby was born. I've always regretted not getting some kind of contact information for him that day. I figured I'd see him again...eventually. Every now and then I'd search for him on facebook or myspace or just in general on the internet....hoping something would come up. A wedding announcement lol or something. Well today something did come up and it broke my heart. We haven't talked in years but that doesn't make the pain any less. I've never forgotten Justin and I never will. I wish I would've known much sooner...but at least I can deal with the loss now. I can tell he was loved and I know he was appreciated for the joy he brought to so many people's lives. I pray that God eases the pain for his family and that He protects them. I know y'all don't know me but from the bottom of my heart I truly mean it when I say, if there is anything I can do please, please let me know. He brightened my life just that much for the brief time I knew him.

COME WITH ME

The Lord saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms aroud you
And whispered, "Come with me."

With tearful eyes, we watched you suffer
And saw you fade away,
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,
A beautiful smile at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove
He only takes the best.

It's lonesome here without you
We miss you so each day,
Our lives aren't the same
Since you went away.

When days are sad and lonely,
And everything goes wrong,
We seem to hear you whisper,
"Cheer up and carry on."

Each time we see your picture,
You seem to smile and say,
"Don't cry, I'm in God's keeping,
We'll meet again someday."

Our prayers are with you during this time or sorrow. Justin was a kind, respectful and caring person. He often visited our home especially when Big Ryan our son was home, you see he was our neighbor. When I would see him sitting outside of his home he would always wave and smile at me. He was a good neighbor and the neighborhood will never be the same without his smiling face. He had a great sense of humor and he was truly a good person. May he rest in peace and may God continue to bless all of you, because he will see you through this.
