Linda Hallmark Obituary

Linda O. Hallmark, 62 of LaBelle passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010 with her family by her side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with Reverend Monsignor Dan Malain officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Broussard's in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday with a Scriptural Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM at the mortuary. Linda lived most of her life in Nederland. She retired in member services at Gulf Employees Credit Union and owned Linda's tax services for forty years. She enjoyed sewing, shopping and totally involving herself with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Jesse G. Morua and sister, Carol Ann Chapa. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Percy Hallmark of LaBelle; daughter, Kim Bordonaro and her husband Scott of Nederland; son, John P. Hallmark, Jr. and his wife Amy of Pearland; mother, Henrietta M. Morua of Nederland; brother, Jesse V. Morua and his wife Diane of Nederland; six grandchildren, Brett, Blake, and Brookelyn Bordonaro, Will, Connor and Reid Hallmark; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dear Hallmark family,
We were very sorry to hear of Linda's passing. She helped us with our taxes for many years along with helping us with our banking at the credit union. She will be missed.

I am very saddened at hearing about Linda's passing. I loved Linda very much and will miss her greatly. I worked for several years with her in banking and she did my taxes for years. I will remember Linda fondly. My thoguhts and prayers are with her family at this time.
