Loren Clay Obituary

Loren B. Clay, Sr., 92, of Wildwood, died February 3, 2012 at Silver Hills Nursing Home in Montgomery, Texas. Loren was born October 21, 1919 in St. Joseph, Missouri to William Henry and Carol Jean (McConnell) Clay. A resident of Wildwood for the past five years, Loren had lived in Houston for more than forty-seven years. He was the president and owner of Clay Associates in Houston and he also proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps. Loren is survived by his son, Loren B. Clay, Jr. and his wife Maxine of Wildwood; his daughter, Shana Allredge of Ashville, North Carolina; his sister, Dr. Margaret Leone Clay of Hillman, Michigan; granddaughter, Dr. Catrina Bubier and husband Scott, of Denver, Colorado; great grandchildren, Kelsey and Kyle Bubier; step-son, Dr. William Decker and his wife, Liz, of Houston; step grandchildren, Katie and Will Decker. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Wildwood-Village Mills United Methodist Church, 5943 FM 3063, Village Mills, with burial to follow at Village Mills Cemetery under the direction of Broussard's in Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of service. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Wildwood-Village Mills United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 332, Village Mills, Texas 77663.
