I do not remember Paul but his mother, Doris was my first cousin. Her mother , Mrs. Pagel was my father's sister. I knew Ragan and talked with him the last time while he is at his Dr. friends after surgery. I just found out that Paul Jr. and Ragan both have passed away. So sorry and wish we could have had time with each other of the years but distance was part of the problem.

I worked with Paul at the refinery but, he was more than a coworker, he was also my friend. Paul was a good man, empathetic, forgiving and insightful. Most men are raised to believe they need to fight and conquer. Paul understood to better one's self is more important than competing or beating someone else. He was great to work with, and his sense of humor lightened the heaviest loads. You could trust Paul, he said what he meant, and meant what he said. You don’t usually get to choose the people you work with but, given the opportunity, I would have chosen Paul and WC (Bobbit) any day. He loved his family and spoke fondly of them often. May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief. May the love and mercy of our Lord be bestowed upon you and your family during this sorrowful time. Please accept our sincere condolences.
