Thomas Sprott Obituary

Thomas W. Sprott, 59, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011. Mr. Sprott was born February 25, 1951 to Dr. Edward Daniel Sprott III and Ernestine (Clark) Sprott. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel officiated by Pastor Durward Minor. Those serving as pallbearers will be Ed Watson, Ronald Williams, Dexter Green, Terrell Abbott, Clayton Holmes and Larry Broussard. Honorary pallbearers will be Oscar Taylor Sr., Tawaski Narcisse and Federico Castro. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday from 9:00 - 11:00a.m. at the funeral home. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edward Sprott II. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Angel Medrano and fiancé, Federico Castro; granddaughter, Jennifer Medrano and grandson, César Castro; sisters, Antoinette (Sissy) Sprott and Nancy Phillips of Beverly Hills, CA. and a host of friends and co-workers.
