Victoria Bonsall Obituary

Victoria Elaine Bonsall, 72, of Beaumont, died September 14, 2025. She was born March 31, 1953, to Myra Estelle Guidry and Vernon James Clay. Vicki attended Forest Park High School and graduated from Lamar University. She applied herself in cosmetics sales, dress making, teaching, and bookkeeping. A long-time member of the Milady Garden Club, she was a consummate gardener and homemaker. Vicki devoted herself as a wife and mother and supported her son as a leader of Cub Scout Troop 85.

Survivors include her son, Benjamin, and his wife, Katherine, of Beaumont; sisters, Cynthia Srader of Houston and Rebecca Boggess of Bolivar; brother, Vernon 'Jim' Clay of Austin; and grandsons, Benjamin and Oliver, both of Beaumont.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Bonsall and her parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Warren Loose Conservatory at the Beaumont Botanical Gardens, 6088 Babe Zaharias Drive, Beaumont, Texas 77705.

A Memorial Mass for Mrs. Bonsall will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2025, at St. Jude’s Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont. Friends and family will be received after the ceremony at her son's residence in Beaumont.
