Vivian Ramsey Obituary

Vivian Peachie Hart Ramsey, 72, of Kountze went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 06, 2008. Peachie was born December 5, 1935 in Batson, Texas to Grady Marlin and Cecil (Dagle) Hart. A resident of Kountze for twenty-five years, she was employed as a vault teller with Republic Bank in Dallas and as a title secretary with Ray Nalley Motors. She was preceded in death by her father, Grady Hart; daughter, Rhonda Ramsey, son-in-law, Cumby E. Freeman, and nephew, Clayton Hart. She is survived by her mother, Cecil Hart Taylor; brother, Dump Hart and wife Willie Mae; children, Linda Anderson and husband Dwight, Helen Neff and husband Keith, Grady Hart and wife Jessie Punkin, Toni Ramsey, Theresa Cowart and husband Don, and J.R. Ramsey and wife Sheila; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008 at First Baptist Church, 100 Monroe, Kountze with Reverend Robert Hall and Reverend Tony Thornton officiating. Burial will follow at William Hart Cemetery in Kountze under the direction of Broussard's, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2008 at the mortuary. Complete and updated information may be viewed at www.broussardsmortuary.com.
