Dear Gauthia family: I doubt that any of you knew me, but I knew Walter pretty well. I first met him back in about 1983 when I got out of the body shop business for a few years to be an insurance damage appraiser. From the first time I met him, I liked him, and enjoyed and respected his upbeat and positive personality. I always looked forward to going to his shop when I'd get an assignment to do so. The most comical thing I remember about going to his place was that he had a guard dog for awhile that would bite through tires on the vehicles. I don't know what he finally did with that do, but I know it cost him a fair bit having to replace those tires...that was about the only time I ever saw him agitated. In 1990, I got back in the body shop business, and continued my association with Mr. Walter; pulling frames on vehicles he was working on, etc for him. I feel blessed and honored to have known and been a small part of Mr. Walter's life. I know you all are going to miss him very much. Anthony Fasulo

Cousin Walter has touched the lives of so many of us. He first introduced me to paint & body at the age of sixteen years of age. I am honored that he later would bring vehicles to Houston for me to repair. Cuz, we will all miss you. Family, we love you.
