William Crockett Obituary

William R. Crockett (Bill), 93, of League City, passed away June 27, 2021. Bill was born in Sheffield, Alabama on June 5, 1928 to Edward Crockett and Willie Williams Crockett. He was married to Juanita Crockett for 35 loving years. Bill had a long career as a metallurgist with Armco Steel. He was a long time member of the Episcopal Church and started attending services at a Methodist Church when he married Juanita. They took several cruises and traveled the country visiting family. They spent a lot of time with Juanita's sister Fern in Illinois canning fruits.

Bill is survived by his daughter Vicki Crockett of New Braunfels. He was preceded in death by his son Rick Crockett and his daughter Debbie Crockett Eilers. Bill is also survived by his niece Jena Eilers of Waco and nephew Curtis Eilers of Crosby.

Special thanks to Rusty Cockrell and the rest of the Harbor Hospice team. In addition, the family would like to thank Serene Respite; the compassion and care given to both Bill and Juanita during the end of their days on Earth was amazing. Our family is so thankful for everything.
