Zelma Campbell Obituary

Zelma Anderson Campbell, age 98, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012, in Beaumont. She was born July 11, 1913, to Dayton and Althea Anderson in Haskell County, Texas. She worked in medical records for most of her life at St. Elizabeth Hospital, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Ridgewood Church of Christ in Beaumont and she will truly be missed by all. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dayton and Althea Anderson; her husband of 71 years, Don Ross Campbell; three sons, Donald Campbell, James Campbell, and Herschel Campbell; four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her son, Ross Sterling Campbell of Beaumont; one sister, Geneva Margarite Anderson; three grandchildren; six great-grand children; and three great- great grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will begin on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m., at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Condolences can be made to: forestlawnmpfh.com.

Ross, I just learned of the passing of Aunt Zelma, and was sad to learn of this. However, she had a very full life of 98 years, and I'm sure you have wonderful memories to cherish. I remember our good times together in Seymour and when you would visit Joe and me in Haskell. Best regards,

She always had a smile on her face and was a good christian woman and I will miss her as I'm sure her greatgrand children will also rest in peace as you go to your greater reward in heaven zelma with love william hopkins
