ZULA TERRO Obituary

Zula Mae Terro, 84, of Winnie, died November 19, 2009 at the Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beaumont. Mrs. Terro was a native of Gueydan, Louisiana and lived in the Winnie area since 1948 to 2004. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday November 21, 2009 at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 W. Buccaneer Drive with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Broussard's, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Terro is survived by her son, Alton Terro and his wife Charlene of Bridge City; daughter, Delta Wright and her husband Tommy of China; sisters, Rita LeBlanc and her husband John, Edelia Benoit and her husband Reed, Eula Richard and her husband Ambrose all of Winnie, Nita Istre and her husband Hildre of Morse, Louisiana; grandchildren, Stephanie Estes, Denise Barrera, Christina Wright, Todd Terro, Brett Terro; great-grandchildren, Maddison Barrera, Meagan Barrera and Garrett Estes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Olive Istre; husband, Allen Terro and granddaughters, Pamela Wright and Margaret Wright.
