I regret that I possess neither the eloquence of diction, the mind of metaphor ; nor the poetry of imagination to tell you how I feel at the loss of Mark. I have looked for him on and off for many years. I was with the 11th Light Infantry in Viet Nam and met him there. We exchanged many memories of Dayton/Xenia when ever we could get together. He was a great fellow and I was always glad to say he was my friend. Like many friendships from there, they fade away when we get back home. Yet, the time we spent together meant that we did not forget home. MayGod bless him and keep him in the palm of his hand.
