Gene, I didn't call you as much as I should have. I thought of you often, Mary and I spoke of you so much. I miss the breakfasts at Bedford Restaurant, the conversation of woodworking, what you were making or of my project. Our favorite topic, the Lodge or our Faith. I will surely miss you my friend and Brother.

Gene would probably also like people to remember that he hiked the entire Appalachian Trail, from Georgia to Maine, 2,160 miles. He hiked with a group and found it hard to do, but he persevered and finished. Bravo, Gene!
