Dyersburg, Tennessee - Albert Paul Sasak, 71, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Wednesday, December 20, 1950, in East St. Louis, Illinois, he was the son of the late William Peter Sasak and the late Edith Marie Musgrave Sasak. Mr. Sasak served in the United States Army with the rank of SP4 where he proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. He later worked as a GS13 Logistics Specialist with the United States Army Aviation Systems Command in Huntsville, Alabama. He was a talented musician who played the bass guitar and sang lead vocals for several bands, two of which were Country Pleasure and The Spur Band. However, the times he cherished most were the times spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of thirty-six years, Nancy Ann Blakey Sasak of Dyersburg, Tennessee; four sons, Mark Denzer of Dyersburg, Tennessee, David Denzer (Christine) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Jason Sasak of Belleville, Illinois and Brent Sasak (Nichole) of St. Louis, Missouri; one daughter, Angela Sandin (Les) of St. Louis, Missouri; one brother, Robert Sasak; one sister, Patty Collandra (John) of Caseyville, Illinois and he was "Grandpa" to his seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service for Mr. Sasak will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 10, 2022, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 2:00 PM at O'Fallon City Cemetery; 601 N. Oak St., O'Fallon, IL 62269.
