Alice Barnett
Alice Barnett, nee Cunningham, 78, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born Aug. 7, 1925, in Australia, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003, at O'Fallon Health Care Center, O'Fallon, Ill.
Mrs. Barnett was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Fairview Heights, Ill. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred George and Martha, nee Richardson, Cunningham; a half brother, John Lynch; and a half sister, Hazel Lynch.
She is survived by her husband, James R. Barnett; two sons, James (Victoria) Barnett of Swansea, Ill., and David (Janet) Barnett of Tucson, Ariz.; two granddaughters, Jami (Brian) Gruenloh of O'Fallon, Ill., and Jennifer (Skip) Comstock of Richland, Wash.; a grandson, David Andrew Barnett of Grand Junction, Colo.; two great-grandchildren, Zoe Marie Comstock and Grant Thomas Gruenloh; a half brother, Steve (Nola) Lynch of McKay, Australia; a sister, Dorothy Hummrich of Brisbaine, Australia; and a half sister, June (Noel) Pitt of Bundaburg, Australia.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Visitation: Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at noon Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill., with the Rev. Ralph Phillipi officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
