Alice Marie Antoinette "Toni" Hankins, 69, of Granite City, Ill., born Dec. 31, 1938, in Marinette, Wis., passed away at 3:50 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2008, in Glen Carbon.
Mrs. Hankins retired in 2002, from Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, Ill., after many years of dedicated service as a records clerk. She enjoyed spending the last three years as a volunteer at the hospital. She will be remembered for her love of reading, shopping and being with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gustave and Edith, nee Lundgren, Larson.
She is survived and will dearly be missed by three daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Joseph Pytlinski of Glen Carbon, Ill., Tina and Steve Stickler of Moro, Ill., and Janet and John Fassbinder of Marengo, Ill.; three sons and one daughter-in-law, David and Andrea Kaempf of Seattle, Wash., Ronald Kaempf of Granite City, Ill., and John Kaempf of Granite City, Ill.; six grandchildren, James McQuaide, Carrie Fassbinder, Kyle Stickler, Morgan Stickler, Amelia Pytlinski and Alexander Kaempf; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Dick and Barb Larson of Marinette, Wis., and Bob Larson of Marinette, Wis.; one sister, Millie Youngquist of Menomonee Falls, Wis.; other extended family and friends.
Memorials may be made to the ALS Association, St. Louis Regional Chapter, 2258 Weldon Parkway, St. Louis, Missouri 63146 and may be accepted at the funeral home.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008, at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon, Ill.

Funeral: Private family services will be held.
