Bernice Adamove
Bernice Leona Adamove, nee Zajac, 84, of Troy, Ill., formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born Aug. 24, 1921, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Thursday, June 8, 2006, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Collinsville, Ill., and retired from Swift & Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Adamove; her parents, Melchior and Catherine, nee Wojnarowicez, Zajac; an infant brother; a brother, Stanley Zajac; two sisters, Stella Zajac and Catherine Kitson; and a step-son, James Adamove.
She is survived by a daughter, Deborah (Randy) Jones of Collinsville, Ill.; a granddaughter, Ashley C. Jones of Collinsville, Ill.; two sisters, Rose Pitchford of Maryville, Ill., and Helen Zajac of Arnold, Mo.; and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2006, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2006, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Collinsville, Ill., with the Rev. Michael Walther officiating. Burial in St. Clair Memorial Park, Fairview Heights, Ill.
