Betty Jackson
Betty L. Jackson, nee Henson, 80, of Collinsville, Ill., born Oct. 13, 1928, in Swanick, Ill., died at 3:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at her home.
Mrs. Jackson was retired from the First National Bank in East St. Louis, Ill., and the First National Bank in Granite City, Ill.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Edward Jackson Sr.; parents, Clinton A. and Cora M., nee Wilson, Henson; sisters, June Jones and Judy Guth; and brother, William Henson.
Surviving are her children, Edward A. (Cheri) Jackson of Glen Carbon, Ill., Linda L. (Robert) Bandy of Madison, Tenn., and Veda A. Lydon of Fayetteville, N.C.; step son, Gerald Edward (Lisa) Jackson Jr., of Collinsville, Ill.; grandchildren, William Woods, Christina Bandy and Olivia Jackson. sister, Jane Caveglia of Belleville, Ill.; and brother, Delbert (Judy) Henson of Pontoon Beach, Ill.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, at the funeral home with the Rev. Roger Wright officiating. Interment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
