Steeleville police found Morgan's body in her home after responding to a call before 8 a.m., said Lt. Steve Shields of the Illinois State Police investigations department in Du Quoin.

State police, the Randolph and Perry counties' sheriff's departments and the Randolph County coroner joined Steeleville police at the scene, where they all conducted an investigation. Roye was arrested in Steeleville later that evening.

Roye was an aqcuaintance of Morgan's and has also been known to live in Du Quoin, Shields said. He is being held in the Randolph County Jail in Chester.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
