I did not know Charles but I did meet him one time near the little store when my car broke down and a car with 4 men that looked like they were up to no good stopped and I was by myself with my 5 yr old. Charles came out of the store and immediately came over and struck up a conversation with me causing the other men to leave and he waited there until my family arrived. I may not have caught onto what he was doing at the time but I think I know now. He was very brave and generous to spend his time standing there with me and I wish I could thank him for that. You never know he could have possibly saved my life that day I have no idea what the intentions of those 4 other men were. May you RIP I am sorry this happened to you
