Daniel Feurer

Daniel R. Feurer 45, of Sebring , Fla., passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Good Shepard Hospice in Sebring, Fla. He was born July 26, 1967, to Arretta Albrecht and Dennis Feurer in Belleville, Ill., and had been a resident of Florida since 1980.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Johnson;

grandfathers, Eugene Logston and Wilmer Feurer; and grandmother, Lillian (June) Morgan.

Dan graduated from The Medical Arts Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and had worked as a Paramedic for 15 years before becoming ill. He enjoyed sports and being with people in a group atmosphere. Dan was known for his wit, generosity and love of people.

Surviving are his father Dennis Feurer and Step-Mother Anna of Freeburg, Ill.; sisters, Jennifer (Kevin) Chenault and Amanda (David) Feurer of Belleville, Ill.; aunts, Pamela (Bob) Barbieri of Marissa, Ill., and Lorrie (Brad) Schuette of Smithton, Ill.; and uncle, Roger (Jeanne) Feurer of Belleville, Ill.; grandfather, Gene Morgan of Smithton, Ill.; his mother Arretta Albrecht and step-father Ron of Sebring, Fla.; a brother, Christopher Denny (Sharon) of Winter Haven , Fla.; grandmother, Phoebe Logston of Sebring, Fla.; an aunt, Donna Zimmerman (Clifford) of Sebring, Fla.; uncles, James Logston (Cheryl) of Swansea, Ill., and Rocky (Betty) Logston of Red Bud , Ill.; and many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends that loved Dan very much.

Visitation: Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012, at St. John the Baptist, Smithton, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012, at St. John the Baptist, Smithton, Ill.
