Darwin was an officer for Federal Reserve Bank in St. Louis, Mo. Darwin loved his church family and was a member of Union United Methodist Church in Belleville, Ill., and sang in the choir at Hope Church in Belleville, and served on numerous committees. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lee and Edna, nee Copeland, Stephens; brothers, Harold Stephens, and James Milton Stephens; brothers-in-law, James Touchette, and Charles Maguire; and sister-in-law, Amintia, nee Justus, Stephens.
